Established in the year 1973, RTTC Ahmedabad was created to train personnel of Department of Telecom to meet the rapid change in the communication technology. After the formation of BSNL in October – 2000, the training centre was shifted on 15th December, 2001 to the departmental building located on Sarkhej – Gandhinagar highway at Jagatpur, Ahmedabad. The academic block of RTTC is situated in a surrounding of 58 acres departmental land. The training centre has grown manifolds under the able leadership & hard work of different officers of DOT / BSNL.
